Historical development of the Bedrich Hrozny School in Lysa nad Labem within the regional development

The thesis deals with the development of education in the town of Lysá nad Labem, taking into account the historical development of the town and the region. The thesis also describes the history of Lysá nad Labem with an emphasis on education. The aim of the thesis is to map the historical development of the oldest elementary school in Lysá nad Labem. The main source of the work are school chronicles and memorial books, which are kept in the depository of the State district archive - Nymburk, located in Lysá nad Labem. The work deals with the historical development of this school in a particular period namely the years 1878-1945. The work is of a historical character, and the original sources and archival documents were used in its creation. Methodologically, the thesis is based on the historical comparative method, as well as the analysis and synthesis. Historical work is not divided into a theoretical and practical part, but is predominantly theoretical in its character. The thesis is a historical character, therefore it is based on the study of primary sources, i.e., school chronicles and other similar documents, in order to clarify the development of primary school in Výprachtice (Lanškroun district). The methods used will be methods of historical research including methods of oral history. This Bachelor thesis deals with environmental literacy of secondary school students. The thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. The aim of the theoretical part is to define the basic terms of ecology, ecological education, environmental education and eco-literacy. Another aim of the theoretical part is to describe the meaning of eco-literacy in today's peoples' lives in connection with offered education, and to describe and define the meaning of questionnaires. The following methods are used in processing the theoretical part: analysis, comparison and synthesis of theoretical findings from specialised sources. The aim of the practical part is to find out the situation regarding eco-literacy at two selected secondary schools. The required information will be gathered using a questionnaire, the creation of which is based on findings from specialised sources. The acquired data will be processed with descriptive statistics, and basing on the results that will be discussed, a recommendation for pedagogical practise and conclusion will be formulated.
